01

I’m new. Where should I start?

Welcome — we’re so glad you’re here. If you’re brand new to group fitness, you can jump into any class - - they're all beginner-friendly.  We do recommend starting with SCULPT Pilates Mat to build a strong foundation while learning our movement style.

If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re happy to guide you.

02

Do I need experience to take class?

Not at all. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels. Instructors provide modifications and progressions so you can move at your own pace.

03

What should I bring to class?

  • Grip socks (required for ALL classes)

  • Water

  • Mat

  • A small towel (if preferred)

We provide all equipment unless otherwise noted. We have grip socks and water for purchase and limited mats to rent for $5.

04

What should I wear?

Comfortable athletic wear that allows you to move freely. For heated classes, lighter breathable fabrics are recommended.

01

How do I book a class?

All classes must be reserved online through our booking system. We recommend booking early, as class sizes are intentionally sized and fill up. You can also download + book on the Fit by Wix app.

02

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel up to 4 hours before class without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a lost class credit.

03

What if a class is full?

Join the waitlist! Spots often open up, and you’ll automatically be notified if space becomes available.

04

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes early if it’s your first class. If the door is not open yet, we appreciate your patience as our instructors' complete final preparations for class. Studio doors lock at class start time to protect the experience for everyone.

05

Is there a minimum attendance requirement for class to take place?

Yes, our minimum attendance requirement helps us thoughtfully balance instructor scheduling, studio operations, and the overall class experience for our community.

  • A minimum of 3 registered clients is required for class to take place

  • If fewer than 3 clients are registered, class may be canceled at the studio’s discretion

  • If a class is canceled due to low attendance, clients will be notified and class credits will be returned to their account

STUDIO EXPERIENCE

General information on studio policies + procedures

01

Are classes heated?

Some classes are heated, such as the HEATED series. We do also offer SEMI-HEATED Pilates classes -- in this class, we set up fans in one area of the room, so those who prefer a less heated experience, have the benefit of a circulating breeze.

02

Is childcare available?

We offer special, family-focused classes (MINI + ME), but we do not provide on-site childcare at this time.

03

Is there an age restriction?

To help ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience for all participants:

  • Ages 16 & older: May attend group classes independently.

  • Ages 14–15: May participate in group classes when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Under 18: A completed Parental Consent & Liability Waiver is required prior to participating in any class.

Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming and safe environment for every member of our studio community.

04

Can I book private sessions?

At this time, we do not have availability for private sessions. We do offer private group sessions, which can be customized for a variety of occasions and goals. Contact us directly for current availability and pricing information.

01

Are your classes only for women?

Not at all. At Nine One Two Studio, we create space for everyone—welcoming all genders, all bodies, and all levels into a supportive, intentional movement experience.

02

What makes Nine One Two Studio different?

We combine intentional movement, small class sizes, personalized attention, and a supportive community atmosphere. You’re not just another person in the room — we know your name, we see your progress, and you’re part of our community.

03

I’m nervous — will I feel comfortable in class, especially if I've never tried Pilates, Barre or Yoga?

Absolutely. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive, and approachable for all experience levels — including complete beginners. At Nine One Two Studio, we focus on intentional movement, encouragement, and helping you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Modifications and guidance are always offered, and you’re welcome to take breaks...you have to start somewhere!

04

No two classes are exactly alike

Variety is important, but so is progress. That's why we intentionally revisit key movements and foundational patterns throughout our classes. As your strength, mobility, and control improve, we build upon those foundations with thoughtful layers, props, and progressions designed to challenge your body, deepen your practice, and support long-term results.
