Designed With Intention
SEMI-HEATED Pilates offers the same full-body, equipment-inspired mat Pilates experience as our HEATED Pilates class — rooted in the principles and foundations of Classical Pilates and designed to build strength, control, endurance, posture, and deep core connection through intentional movement. This energizing class incorporates exercises and movement patterns inspired by traditional Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Tower, and Cadillac — thoughtfully adapted onto the mat using props such as resistance bands, Pilates balls, sliders, magic circles, and light weights to create an effective, equipment-inspired workout. Expect precise cueing, controlled movement, breath connection, core-focused work, and athletic sequencing that challenges the body while improving mobility, alignment, stability, and overall body awareness. Unlike our fully heated experience, SEMI-HEATED Pilates includes a designated area of the room with fans and added airflow, allowing for circulation and a slight relief from the heat while still experiencing the benefits of a warm studio environment. The warm atmosphere helps prepare the muscles, increase circulation, and enhance the mind-body connection while delivering a challenging yet approachable workout for a variety of fitness levels. Modifications and progressions are offered throughout class to support both newer and more experienced clients. Grippy socks required.
